A necessary reminder, to save the soul from the furnace of this materialistic life, in which hearts have become heedless of their Lord, the Knower of the unseen. Thus, acts of obedience have faded, and souls have drowned in desires. Far from the modern term "progress," commonly used to express technological and economic developments, the author reveals to us another type of progress: namely, "progress toward God," Exalted is He in His Majesty!
