Among the greatest pleasures in life is what I find in contemplating the verses of Allah Almighty, diving into their oceans and extracting their treasures, then connecting them to reality... so that I find an answer to every question and a solution to every problem. Divine answers and solutions, infallible and free from error. Absolute truths that falsehood cannot approach from before or behind. Thus, I see the verses lift me from the confusion of conflicting thoughts, steady me in difficult situations, and calm my heart when fears surround it, as if they were a rope extended from the heavens... and a light illuminating the darkness of life. This book I dedicate to you, my Muslim brother and sister, to assist you in extracting the treasures of the Quran as you read it, and to cultivate within you the ability to connect it to reality and seek guidance from it when minds are led astray.
